井柏然近来心情不错，新作《捉妖记2》定档大年初一，目前预售成绩已经破亿，自己又和“儿子”胡巴一起以搭档的方式入驻了杜莎夫人蜡像馆。在接受凤凰网娱乐的专访时，谈到《捉妖记2》的拍摄和这次的蜡像入驻，井柏然显得格外地兴奋。第二次饰演宋天荫这个角色，他表示表演上不仅游刃有余，心态上也更加放松与自然。虽然是“连滚带爬”地完成了动作戏的拍摄，但他觉得在片场本来就应该甩掉偶像包袱，毫无顾忌地在“捉妖记”的世界中“作妖”。

此次能够与梁朝伟合作，算是实现了井柏然多年以来的一个梦想。梁朝伟在片场的认真与诚恳深深地感染了他：一位入行多年的资深演员尚且放低身份如新人一般，自己更需要加倍努力来完成好角色。井柏然透露梁朝伟私下并不喜欢大家称他为“梁先生”，这样的亲切平和使他们成为了很好的朋友。至于老搭档白百何，井柏然坦言二人在戏外已如姐弟亲人一般，互相勉励成长。
